Signs of spring...
A family of raccoons were discovered on our playground and quickly relocated to the woods. Enjoy this footage that was captured on the playground by our helpful grounds staff. Spring has finally sprung!
Happy Birthday, Scott!
Today was Scott's birthday. He and his dad read a fantastic story about a toothy shark and his tiny nugget sized fish friend. What a great connection to our theme! We also enjoyed a delicious fish shaped, jiggly snack. Thank you, Scott and family, for making Scott's birthday a special day for all of us.
Thank you, Guest Reader
Thanks to Aubree's dad who came in to read to our class. He read a classic, Miss Rumphius. This is a great story to preview our upcoming unit, growing. Thank you for taking the time to come in and share with us.

Lost and Found
These pictures were discovered. In this slideshow the Mighty Buckeyes are working on their sea stars and our class manatee. For the sea stars they were asked to first draw a symmetrical five armed star and then they used a variety of materials to create texture and make their stars realistic. The manatee was created to piggy back on Mr. Cicetti's art lesson, pointillism. We used different shades of gray and white to give our manatee color variation and add realistic details.
