Happy Birthday, Nicholas & Sasha!

This month the Mighty Buckeye had no birthday to celebrate so we decided to celebrate our July birthdays. Sasha and Nicholas both read their favorite stories to the class and shared a delicious treat. Thank you to both Nicholas' and Sasha's parents for coming in on these unofficial birthdays. We really appreciate you making the time to come in on these special days to celebrate your child!
Only in Kindergarten, right?

The Y's Guys

Ask me about the Y's guys! One Y is a bandit and steals the long e sound. We can find the bandit at the end of two syllable words. The one wearing glasses is in disguise. He pretends to be the long i sound in one syllable words. And regular Y he starts a word and make the y-y-y- sound like in our Phonics Dance.
